Key Responsibilities
- Work on high-tech intelligent sorters, conveyors, and material handling equipment including carts, cages, trolleys, and hand pallet trucks
- Handle control hardware and software such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC code, fieldbus IO, and SCADA systems
- Understand Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and related telegrams
- Support building, commissioning, and problem-solving of electrical control and instrumentation panels
- Analyze process flow within the fulfillment center and systems interacting outside the FC
- Work with industrial communication protocols like ProfiBus, ProfiNet, and Ethernet/IP
- Read, update, and maintain electrical schematics, SOPs, and VSOPs
- Analyze metrics and data to identify system optimization opportunities
- Follow change management processes and take the lead in resolving controls-related issues
- Ensure compliance with machine safety regulations and safe working practices

Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Controls engineering
- Hands-on exposure to automation projects, commissioning, or maintenance
- Understanding of barcode recognition technology
- Basic knowledge of IT systems such as IP networking, server architecture, and SQL databases
- Ability to work in a shift-based environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
