About the Job
As a Senior Staff Engineer (DevOps), you will design, implement and scale the core AWS + Kubernetes infrastructure that supports Sony LIV and other digital businesses. This is a high-impact individual contributor role ideal for professionals seeking AWS DevOps Architect roles, Kubernetes Engineering Careers, Cloud Platform Engineering Jobs or OTT Infrastructure Engineering.
What You Will Do
• Architect and manage Amazon EKS clusters for high availability and scale
• Design cloud-native AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, ALB/ELB
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Helm and CloudFormation
• Build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD) for zero-downtime releases
• Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OTel, CloudWatch)
• Optimize Kubernetes networking, ingress, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
• Lead IAM, encryption, and cloud security automation
• Optimize AWS workloads for cost, performance and reliability

Technical Expertise Needed
• Expert in Amazon EKS and large-scale Kubernetes environments
• Strong command of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, ALB/ELB, VPC)
• Proven containerization experience: Docker, Helm, CNI, Ingress
• Advanced automation with Terraform / CloudFormation / Pulumi
• Strong CI/CD pipeline engineering for Kubernetes apps
• Deep knowledge of load balancing, DNS, CDN optimization
• Programming skills: Python, Go or Bash
Experience Required
• 10+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering
• 5+ years in AWS + Kubernetes
• Proven experience with high-traffic, large-scale systems
Soft Skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-impact engineering role
• Strong communication and documentation ability
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in OTT / video streaming platforms
• Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd)
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA
