Hubnex is hiring a Founding Designer who will work directly with the founders and engineering team to design user-first web and mobile products. Role Overview
As a Founding Designer (UI/UX & Product Design), you will own the entire product design journey from research to final UI. You will play a key role in defining how the product looks, feels, and works. This position is hands-on, strategic, and highly collaborative, giving you the freedom to influence product decisions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design process, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI
- Lead UX and UI design for web and mobile applications
- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines
- Work closely with founders, engineers, and product stakeholders to shape product vision
- Conduct user research and usability testing, and iterate designs based on real feedback
- Convert complex product ideas into clean, scalable, and user-friendly designs
- Stay updated with latest UI/UX and product design trends
- Drive a design-first culture and mentor future designers as the team grows

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in UI/UX and product design, preferably in SaaS, web, or mobile products
- A strong portfolio showing complete product design ownership
- Hands-on expertise with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Solid understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and prototyping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- Entrepreneurial mindset with readiness to take full ownership
