Job Overview
The selected candidate will work closely with individual donors and supporters to explain WWF-India’s conservation initiatives, build trust-based relationships, and ensure long-term donor engagement. The role involves donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade, along with continuous relationship management. It requires strong communication skills, a performance-oriented mindset, and the ability to work under targets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact donors through calls, emails, and meetings to clearly explain WWF-India’s conservation work
- Identify and onboard high-value donors and build long-term relationships within key funding areas
- Manage existing donor relationships to maximize engagement and contribution opportunities
- Convert, retain, and upgrade donors from the existing database to improve retention ratios
- Develop donor relationships across different levels of the donor pyramid and reactivate inactive donors
- Maintain professionalism while representing WWF-India’s mission and values

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in donor fundraising, sales, customer acquisition, or relationship management
- Strong skills in business development, cold calling, client relationship management, and sales
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet performance targets
- Team-oriented, performance-driven, and self-motivated personality
- Graduate, Postgraduate, or MBA from a recognized university
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be preferred
