About the Role
As part of Flipkart’s engineering and production team, you will be responsible for maintaining site equipment, analyzing breakdowns, and executing preventive maintenance plans. The role requires strong ownership of machines, conveyors, and electrical systems while working closely with internal stakeholders at the site level. You will report directly to the Site Lead – CMT and contribute to improving key operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on maintaining daily maintenance records such as PM sheets, history sheets, and maintenance trackers using Excel, PPT, and Google Docs. You will analyze technical issues, perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and implement effective countermeasures. Attending breakdowns and resolving issues within the shortest possible time is a key expectation, along with planning shutdown preventive maintenance and managing critical spares.
You will also work on team skill development, site equipment ownership, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring compliance with EHS and safety standards, including LOTO systems and safe work practices.

Skills and Technical Expertise Required
Flipkart is looking for candidates with strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, HMI, VFD, control and power wiring, and electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in conveyor maintenance, including belt changing, alignment, tensioning, roller and bearing maintenance, motor and gearbox repair, is essential. Good documentation skills, data handling, and clear communication are equally important for this role.
