Job Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced Quality Assurance professional with strong exposure to Vehicle COP, WVSCOP regulations, and automotive testing. The role focuses on ensuring full regulatory compliance, managing COP lab activities, coordinating with external testing agencies, and maintaining quality systems as per industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Vehicle COP / Part COP / WVSCOP testing as per regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with ICAT, ARAI, and other external test agencies
- Prepare test plans, monitor execution, and ensure timely test reports and approvals
- Handle internal and external audits and ensure compliance with COP and ISO standards
- Manage lab operations, including equipment calibration, AMC, and infrastructure upgrades
- Analyze defects in coordination with production and design teams
- Maintain ISO pavement track as per applicable IS standards
- Support facility upgrades aligned with upcoming automotive regulations
Technical & Functional Skills Required
- Strong experience in COP testing and regulatory compliance
- In-depth knowledge of automotive products and processes (4-wheelers)
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, statistical analysis, MIS, SIS, and Power BI
- Experience in lab management, equipment procurement, and testing facilities
