Sabre Hiring Senior Software Engineer Position Details Team Description
Sabre seeks a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) to join the SabreMosaic Team. We love building software that solves real problems. In this job, you’ll plan, design, build, and test software systems or apps, including cloud-based and online tools.
What You’ll Do
- Write, test, and fix new and complex software or improve existing products.
- Design and build apps using advanced cloud technology.
- Solve tricky problems that need a deep understanding of the company’s goals. Choose the best methods and techniques to get things done.
- Follow top coding rules and use the best ways to keep quality high.
- Talk often with team leaders, designers, product managers, and HR about projects or team progress. Convince others in a friendly way when needed.
- Guide team members on tech skills and teamwork.
- Share the big picture of the business and products. Teach others about specific tech tools.
What You Need:
- 4-6 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- A Master’s degree in Business, Tech, or Engineering from a good university.
- Experience making software fast in an Agile setup.
- Skills in building apps with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, or cloud tools.
- Create user-friendly screens using tools like React, Node, or Angular.
- Expert in cloud products, especially with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Know-how with JSON, XML, and logging tools like Log4j.
- Worked with databases like Spanner, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL ones like Couchbase or Firestore.
- Handle tricky data in your code.
- Write tests for everything—unit, function, performance, and more—using tools like Junit. Make CI/CD scripts with Jenkins.
- Use Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Build modern web apps from start to finish and work with different teams.
- Help with launching products and fix issues if they come up.
- Good at DevOps, like CI/CD and watching how systems work.
- Bonus if you’ve used tools like Terraform for infrastructure.
- Great at solving problems and thinking clearly.
- Strong English, written and spoken.
- Self-driven and ready to commit.
